Zimbabwe national cricket team confirm July T20I series against India national cricket team
Zimbabwe have officially confirmed that they will host India for a three-match T20 International series in July 2026, adding another chapter to the bilateral rivalry between the two sides.
The short-format series will be played at the Harare Sports Club, with matches scheduled on July 23, 25, and 26.
Series details
- 1st T20I: July 23
- 2nd T20I: July 25
- 3rd T20I: July 26
- Venue: Harare Sports Club, Harare
The series comes as part of a packed international calendar for India, who will travel to Zimbabwe after completing tours of England and Ireland earlier in the season.
Context and significance
Zimbabwe head into the series with growing confidence after an impressive campaign in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, where they reached the Super Eight stage.
Officials believe hosting India will provide a major opportunity for Zimbabwe’s players to test themselves against one of the top teams in world cricket, while also drawing significant fan interest.
India, who last toured Zimbabwe in 2024, will look to continue their strong record in the shortest format as they prepare for future global tournaments.
With both teams aiming to build momentum, the July T20I series is expected to deliver competitive and high-intensity cricket.
